October 17, 2017: Social Work Coordinators and Animators of Eastern Province met at Paradip in Odisha from 12th to 15th of October 2017 for a capacity building, exposure and for planning, from 6 centres. It was organised under the leadership of Sr Jessy Maria, the Province Coordinator for Social Work, and it was first of its kind. There were 36 participants in all, out of which 8 were sisters; they visited 15 villages, self help groups and federation. The participants studied in detail, its programmes, functions, income generating activities, and interacted with women. From each centre Animators presented their street plays and the annual reports. There was a lot of interaction among the participants which facilitated to learn from each other. Half a day outing was arranged to the Paradip Port and sea.
