Ish Kripa Bethany Provincial House, Karnal Haryana
Date: 6, 7 & 8 January 2017
Jesus said, “The harvest is rich but the labourers are few.”(Mt: 9:37)
Keeping this in mind a group of 30 vibrant sisters of different age groups along with Sr Jyoti, the Provincial Superior, and her team assembled at Ish Kripa, the Provincial House of the Northern Province, on 7th and 8th of Jan 2017 to reflect, evaluate and find ways and means to look for more genuine and good labourers for Bethany.
Sr Jyoti, the Provincial Superior, reminded the participants of the importance of four ‘B’s- to be, to become, to behold and to belong. Fr Nishanth IMS, the Vice Provincial of Delhi Province, the resource person highlighted the role of formators as the chosen instruments of God to actualise the vision and mission of Christ in the world. The formators need to be innovative and creative in their thinking and approach. They also need to constantly form themselves in the light of Christ and facilitate the formation of the formees. The task of the formators though very challenging and tough, is rewarding too. All the formators and vocation promoters of the Province were deeply appreciated and encouraged.
Sr Arpan, the Coordinator of Vocation Animation, and Sr Violet, the Coordinator for Formation, were congratulated for their strenuous efforts in their respective fields. The participants returned to their respective communities more enlightened and determined to work with greater enthusiasm and commitment.
