The Temporary Profession of newly vested Novice Sr Benita Mawlong of Rosa Mystica Novitiate, Kinnikambla, took place on 22nd of October 2024, at 10.30 am during the Eucharistic Celebration. Rev Rudolf Raj Pinto OCD, Director of Ryshivana and newly elected Secretary of CCBI, officiated the Eucharistic celebration, concelebrated by Fr Jomin MI, and Fr Sebi,Camillian Fathers
Sr Lilly Pereira, Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province received the vows of Sr Benita during the Eucharistic celebration and the newly professed Sister was officially received in the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany. A short felicitation program was organized during which Sr Benita Mawlong was felicitated by Provincial Superior. Her father and cousin brother and the sisters from the campus were present on the occasion. The important role played by Sr Sonia the Novice Directress and her assistant Sr Lilitta in preparing her for this great day was recognised. The encouragement and support from her family was appreciated.
The newly professed Sister profusely thanked Sr Rose Celine the Superior General and her Councillors for their prayerful support and blessings. She expressed her heartfelt thanks to Provincial Superior, her vocation promoter, directresses and parents for their encouragement and blessings. All present greeted the newly professed Sister. A sumptuous meal was served to mark the event. Bethany Congregation rejoices with the newly professed sister and wishes her well.
